Hey, thank you very much! I’m really looking forward to when this will be merged, because the problems with Vulkan on Intel iGPU are really annoying me |
|
Unfortunately, Mesa 25.3.5 still contains Vulkan bugs for Intel iGPUs. @emjomi |

Mesa 26.0.1, iGPU Intel HD630, WarThunder, Vulkan upd: The error appears after 5-45 minutes of play. Rolling back to mesa 25.1.9 solves the problem. |

@onlylunix Did you rebase? Also, from the release 26.0.1 announcement:

Haven't tried building EDIT: Fwiw, no issues so far running v26.0.1 (minimal build) on Intel HD 620 and Iris Xe |

For me, the current version failed to build, but it builds and works fine on |

have you reported this to the mesa devs? seems futile to just update and hope it's fixed |

There are a lot of similar messages here:
Besides Intel, there are other video cards. |

Tank you for mentioning I have a Intel HD Graphics 530, there seems to be a problem with the ANV "slab allocator", first enabled on this commit: dabb012423dc27e2b03f13f7144406edacc89069 , previous commits seem to work fine. For me it's causing misrenderings in mpv ui and subtitles. |
I built Mesa 26.0.2 with this patch: And now I don't see the "GPU HANG" error. |
|
@onlylunix what kernel version are you using? Could you test version |
|
@IgMBP
Sure, I'll try and let you know here. |
|
@IgMBP |
|
this might just be a kernel version incompatibility or something that got fixed kernel side in a later versions. edit: |
|
I can also confirm that switching to linux-mainline solved the problems with Vulkan |
|
@onlylunix It appears that the commit still references 26.0.2 despite the name change |
